X-TND


The X-TND range of classes are designed to inspire, change and challenge your weekly workout. Uniquely designed and expertly delivered by the team at Studio 22 .

The X-TND classes are suitable for all levels of dancer or fitness fan or aerialist wannabe. Each class is designed by the instructor to offer a fun and new way of working out, whilst getting you to think and use your body in new ways.

Each class has suitable options for you weather your completely new or a seasoned pro, we have ways to modify the class content to fit your needs.


 

X-TND:XPress

Instructor: Amy Williams

A short workout that promises to deliver and combines the best exercises from All of our classes. Concentrating on arms & shoulders, Abs, legs and glutes. You can expect to burn calories and increase muscle tone, and all this in just 30 minutes. Think of it like a modern day LB&T.

X-TND: Ballet Fit

Instructor: Amy Williams

Sculpt and tone from top to toe. This class is made up of ballet, yoga and Pilates inspired exercises and routines. Re-awaken your inner ballerina with this laid back approach to ballet. We will take you through the basic exercises that will not only lead to a 'tighter leaner body with killer abs and a whittled waist but you will also get sculpted arms and legs to boot! No previous ballet experience needed.

X-TND & Perfect: Flight Club

Instructors: Amy Williams / Christy Brimmer 

We use this class to help you develop your self practice and give you some new techniques and moves along the way. The first 20 minutes consists of warming up working on strength and technique and mobilising and preparing your body for the next 30 minutes, which is your time to self practice. This simply means practice what you know. Ask for guidance and variations, let your instructor know if you're finding something too hard or too easy. You can ask to learn new moves or techniques for anything including strength and flexibility or even how to transition in and out of things you already know in the pole and aerial based classes. The final section of the class will concentrate on stretching and cooling you down. Repetition is key to mastering any skill. So this is the perfect class to come along side a pole or hoop course that you are already attending to give you a chance to practice and perfect what you are learning. (longer practice time on the Sunday class)

X-TND & Perfect: BodyBlitz 

Instructor: Christy Brimmer

BODY BLITZ is a pole based class that is all about helping you bring your A game with, strength and conditioning being the main focus. The first 10 minutes consists of warming up, working on technique and mobilising and preparing your body for the next 30 minutes in which you will be given a range of strength building exercises by the instructor. Ask for guidance and variations, let your instructor know if your finding something too hard or too easy. The final section of the class will concentrate on stretching and cooling you down. Repetition is the key to mastering any skill, so this is the perfect class to come alongside a pole or hoop course that you are attending to give you a chance to practice and perfect what you are leaning.

X-TND & Perfect:Pole 

Instructor: Amy Williams / Christabelle / Leah / Nat / Carla

This class is based around you becoming the best pole dancer you can be. Stronger, more flexible and more confident in your movement. The class will be structured with: 20 min for warm up and strength training 20 min for working on your own personal pole goals - be that combination spins, inverts or handsprings. The last 20 min will be used for increasing flexibility and overall well being of your muscles after your workout. You will see great results with this class. Suitable for all levels but recommended to those who taken a previous course and are looking to work on specific aspects of their pole dancing.

X-TND & Flex

Instructor: Amy Williams / Leah

X-TND & FLEX: Beg - Int:  Designed for anyone wanting to stretch and increase / improve their range of movement. Regardless of level or ability this class will give you visible results in a matter of weeks with regular attendance. It combines traditional dance and yoga stretches as well as a more modern approach to stretching.Please wear plenty of layers, and bare feet, or dance trainers / socks / yoga socks (grippy sole's) are recommended. No trainers as these will inhibit your range of movement.

X-TND & FLEX: Int - Adv: is an intensive stretch class designed for dancers, martial arts students, pole dancers, yoga enthusiasts and anyone else want to increase and improve their range of movement. We take a more advanced and mindful approach to stretches to ensure better results faster. You will get visible results in a matter of weeks with regular attendance. It combines traditional dance and yoga stretches as well as a more modern approach to stretching. You will not only increase flexibility but also improve your alignment, relieve muscular tension and also reduce your chances of injury. Please wear plenty of layers, and bare feet, or dance trainers / socks / yoga socks (grippy sole's) are recommended. No trainers as these will inhibit your range of movement.
